RJ Calipus, LJ Moreno, Janna Dominguez, Jommy Teotico, Savanah Lamsen, Marion dela Cruz and Manuel Chua, Jr. In Pinoy Fear Factor, we’ve seen these reality show stars conquer their fear, one by one: from fear of heights to fear of sights, to eating insects and chomping on objects. These fearless few are not of the faint-hearted variety — we all know this by now.
It’s anyone’s ball game, and that is when it gets more exciting.

The Magic 7 has it strong. RJ is very determined to win because of his family — he has two kids and a wife to support. Jommy’s ace is that he is able to play mind games, which serves as his strategy in distracting his opponents. Janna’s willpower stems from the fact that she wants to help her family, especially her father who works in Japan. LJ is naturally competitive at anything she does, coming from the oh-so-competitive world of showbiz. Marion loves challenging himself and has great footwork, having been a soccer player in Austria. Some people underestimate Savanah because of her being the kikay one, which is why she wants to prove that she is, indeed, a toughie.

Supreme sat down with Manuel Chua Jr., while under the lens of stylist-slash-photographer Ton Lao and asked him how he gets to face his fears, and conquer them.

“In terms of the game, whenever there’s a scary challenge, I’d block off everything that surrounds me and not pay attention to anything else. I just keep my focus on the task at hand,” Manuel says in a very polite manner, peppering every sentence with po and opo to the whole team involved in the shoot.
Later on, he would reveal the deeper reason why he never gives up on the challenges. ”It’s because of my daughter. I’ll do anything for her.” Manuel is talking about his four-year-old angel Klarine Angela. Manuel also has an appliance store in Nueva Ecija, even before joining the show.

Our bets are on Manuel. It seems like nothing scares this guy. After the shoot, he waxes philosophical about fear. “There’s fear in not knowing, so whenever I see fear, I rationalize things so I can handle it well. I think deeply so I can understand it better. There is nothing that the mind cannot control.”
Hearing that, let us all have a fearless year ahead of us.

I was never afraid of… Heights, deep water, speed…I’m basically an adventurous person.
I fear… Failure. And I conquered this fear by… Thinking positive. Believing in God and myself.
When I was a kid, I used to be scared of… My mom, because she is really the disciplinarian in the family. Growing up with two other hard-headed brothers, we used to get involved in a lot of mishaps but we backed up each other all the time.

The hardest challenge in the show would have to be… The pressures of the show. Giving my best, expectations that I need to meet and trying to push myself to win. Stunt-wise there were actually three stunts that stood out for me as the hardest, first was the snake tank stunt that I never get to try because I earned the “IWAS PELIGRO” for that round of elimination (I was lucky on that one); second was the candy shop where we had to eat insects, rats, worms while trying to beat each other’s time (not lucky at all); third was another stunt whose difficulty I underestimated at first.
When I’m scared, I… Tend to block it off. Fear is all in the mind.

Sources confirm that one of the main characters on Gossip Girl is gay! It was reported by TV Guide that “a male character on Gossip Girl will be revealed to be of the gay persuasion when the show returns next season.”
I
n the book series, Dan Humphrey (Penn Badgley; upper middle pictured) played for both teams, so he’s an option, although the books have provided only a loose interpretation of what we’ve seen on The CW’s Gossip Girl so far.

Gay kiss on UK soap pisses people off

The BBC channel has been flooded with 145 complaints after airing a gay kiss on EastEnders before the 9pm ‘watershed’ (a term used to describe a time in television schedules which divides the period when it is permissible to show television programmes which have ‘adult content’ from the period when it is not).

The ‘offensive’ scenes were aired on Tuesday’s episode of the soap and showed Christian Clarke (John Partridge, 36) and Lee Thompson (Carl Ferguson, 27) engage in a passionate kiss.

“I am appalled by the display of homosexual kissing before the watershed shown on EastEnders,” one person wrote on a BBC messageboard.

“This is disgraceful whilst young children are watching and sets the wrong example.”
Another, Pat, wrote: “I had to explain to my seven-year-old son what was happening.

“He now thinks he is gay because he kisses his dad.”
In response to 145 complaints, some about the fact that the kiss had been shown before the watershed, the BBC said:

“EastEnders aims to reflect real life, and this means including and telling stories about characters from many different backgrounds, faiths, religions and sexualities.

“We approach our portrayal of homosexual relationships in the same way as we do heterosexual relationships.

“In this instance, Christian is enjoying the first flush of romance and we’ve shown him being affectionate with his new boyfriend in the same way any couple would.

“We also aim to ensure that depictions of affection or sexuality between couples are suitable for pre-watershed viewing.

“We believe that the general tone and content of EastEnders is now widely recognised, meaning that parents can make an informed decision as to whether they want their children to watch.”

The latest outrage comes 21 years after EastEnders aired the first gay kiss in a British soap.
Back then, Colin Russell – played by Michael Cashman, 57, who is now a Labour MEP – gave Barry Clark (Gary Hailes, 42) a kiss on the forehead.

Colin’s character was groundbreaking, the first to have a gay kiss on a UK soap.

17 million people saw it, The Sun was outraged, questions were asked in Parliament and another small victory for gay visibility had been won.

USC Medical Center spokeswoman Adelaida De La Cerda said Harold was awaiting further tests.
Publicist Nancy Seltzer said Wednesday that Harold fractured his shoulder, and “Housewives” creator and executive producer Marc Cherry said he apparently has swelling on the brain.

Harold plays Jackson, the boyfriend of Terri Hatcher’s character, who plays a pivotal role in the fifth season’s eighth episode.

5 Years ago i was on my way to Puerto Galera, the day had been one long frustration, beginning with the bus ride from manila to batangas pier. I had sat opposite a handsome guy who persisted in letting his knee brush against mine. He was only teasing. Perhaps he was unaware of teasing, but that was the effect. I thought about sex instead of the long trip ahead of me. The trip was another in my series of escapes, but at least i had rationalizationed motives for it. I was going to visit my College bestfriend who lives in Puerto Galera, which i had missed up to that point and i missed White Beach big time.I would see beautiful and refreshing faces and enhance my appreciation of the world, renewing old ties and embroidering two long standing relationships that represented opposite poles of my emotinal life. I was bear for punishment.The travel represented would almost certainly be complicated and perhaps even spoiled by contacts with the two people who symbolized my polarized instinct: Sally, The only woman who stirred any heterosexual feelings in me, and Leo, the arch-gay type who had helped me to "come-out" in the homosexual world.

By the time i had been aboard a couple of hours,my hopes for a fast score had dimmed measurably. There were boys, lots of them, and beautiful, but in the teen-age bracket. Not cut out to be a tutor, i had no desire to initiate anyone. There were quite a few middle-aged men with girlfriends on thier side and a few good looking and unattached but of that aggressive, robust type which i admired from afar and found terribly difficult to approach.Things looked grim. Still, i reflected, you never know what tomorrow will bring.
finally after hours of trip, and years of not seeing the two important person in my life . we reunited and it feels so good ( hahaha lyrics yun ah) So we went straight to Sally's tita's owned appartel in front of the beach. we talked, laughed, cried and Reminisce. The good part with that trip is that, my bestfriend's cousin jake (also having a vacation from california) was just next door.

After night swimming at white beach (Leo was not yet there) We party at bars located in front of the beach just near the area where i stayed.(Sally lives there, no reason for her to shared room with me,but she gave me a discount haha) Late in the evening i had tea and sandwich for my mid night snacks. I ate alone , as usual, then took a pill and went to bed. I felt very lucky to have Sally for this trip . Shes a nice company and gave me a perks of having discounted room haha. I feel asleed easily due to the influence of fatigue, frustration and Vallium.
My room was pitch dark when i awakened. I lit my ligther to checked my watch, to discover that was just past midnight, I'd been asleep only a short time. Then i heard a stirring the next room, a kind of rhythmic toss and turn. there was only one way to find out if this was an invitation. Very quietly i went outside,his room door was half open and fumbled among my things until i found a cigarette. In the quick blaze of the lighter. i saw Jake sprawled on his bed,seemed drunk, barechested and with one leg uncovered, a blancket pulled over his midriff.In that glimpse i ascertained that he was very likely nude. My imagination was enough to supply whatever additional stimulus was needed, so i silently enter his room and sat down beside his bed bahala na si batman , i was soo horny that time ayokong ma zero!!There it was , the familiar thrust and throb of young manhood. It excited me beyond belief and made my finger tremble while reaching out to touch him.

After the moment he said "The door" at first i didnt understand, and thought he wanted me to stop. But no, after he clearly stated that he wants me to close the door. Almost before i knew what was happening, he rolled himself into his blanket and turned over to go to sleep.For me , sleep did not come so easily, and yet i was momentarily content. WHAT A DAY!!! i felt as if everything is a set up!!

The next day brought a rude awakening. Jake seemed hardly remember the incident. But i guess he was not cruel or rude, i think he just couldnt have cared less. and later i discovered the reason (Thanks to Sally). He had scored with a rather unattractive older woman and so had no further use for me. It was as if i didnt exist. At first this made me furious, Jake was a prize such as one rarely encounter, and there he was only a few feet away! Never mind!! He was now set up with FEMALE!! and however old and ugly she might be , she was still a fish while i was a faggot. Yes I was burned!!

When i was at college i made a thesis about Homosexuality, i even remember my prof told me " This is a hard subject .. masyadong malawak ang pinili mong subject.. Well you are gay baka maging bias ang research mo and makalimutan mo yung mahahalagang angulo ng story" in my mind i said " There's only one logical way to go... and that's to amplify on the bisexual angle". In that way i captured both male and female angle.

The story began when i started asking casual question of other man (gay,"pamintang" buo at durog) whom i came in contact. the more i asked, The more i learned. This leaning towards bisexuality and seemed not only on the upswing, it also appered to have a kind of solidity that is not found in trendy, faddish movements. Now i was convinced that i had stumbled onto the subject.

As it happened, The timing was very right. The moment i would say " I'm doing a research about bisexuality" on more than one occasion someone would pull the rug out from under me. as it were, by taking me aside and saying " Look. I'm bisexual. Would you like to have some pointers ? lets talk" or someone else might say " Listen, i have a bisexual friend maybe we can arrange a date for you". so that in essence, is how it all began.Now for my actual experiences, conversations, and encounters, a number of which were, as they say in the vernacula, "mind-blowers".

Later You will meet the men i have talked and encountered... get to know thier experiences and their minds at the pain, perversity and danger of the man's trip through " the gay life"

Cuenca got a big break in his career when he and supposedly ex-girlfriend Roxanne Guinoo were given the chance to play the lead roles in the well received 2007 TV series Sineserye Presents: Natutulog Ba Ang Diyos?. He was also a part of the fantaserye Mars Ravelo's Lastikman with Roxanne Guinoo, Vhong Navarro and Iya Villania. They played characters involved in a love quadrangle (square). He was removed from the sitcom That's My D oc starring Aga Muhlach to concentrate on the action-packed series Palos .
Bangs Garcia was supposed to be the leading lady of Jake in Palos, but due to public-demand, the character of Roxanne Guinoo , Anna, was resurrected after initially shown to have died during the early part of the show.
